our story
Premier Wedding Pastors KC was born when a local Kansas City pastor (Ryan Pelton) noticed two problems. One, typical wedding officiants didn't offer couples premier wedding ceremonies/services capturing their unique personalities and values. Ceremonies were often canned, rote, and lacked beauty and fun.Two, local churches/pastors typically weren't hospitable toward couples not part of their congregations. Ryan and his team of Wedding Pastors are committed to solving both of these problems.Premier Wedding Pastors KC is committed to crafting the wedding ceremony of your dreams. Beautiful and fun!
Our Founder
Ryan J. Pelton launched Premier Wedding Pastors KC in 2017. In the last six years alone, his team has performed 75+ wedding ceremonies, and 100+ hours of pre-marital/post-marital counseling. Ryan planted New City Church in the urban core of Kansas City in 2009, and has led this faith community ever since. Ryan is married to his high school sweetheart for almost 22 years, has four children, and a dog Milo. When not doing weddings, or hanging with the family, he can be found wandering the streets of KC in search of proper Mexican food.

-Our Team will attend and lead a Rehearsal Service (no extra charge).

-A Spiritual Emphasis including prayer and Scripture (if desired, but not necessary)

The Emerald Package $849
Includes:
-Everything in the Ruby Package
-Plus three 60-90 minute pre-marital counseling sessions.
-We explore topics such as: communication, conflict, handling stress, finances, marriage expectations, parenting, spiritual dynamics, family dynamics, and much more.
-We are certified trainers in Prepare and Enrich (https://www.prepare-enrich.com/) one of the most effective tools for premarital and marriage counseling in the world.
The Diamond Package $999
Includes:
-Everything in the Ruby and Emerald Packages.
-Plus one post-marriage counseling / check-in session (valid anytime)
Next Steps?1. Contact us for a free consultation (click below). We can do Zoom, or in-person meetings.
2. If we are a good fit, pay a $100 deposit to lock in your wedding date. We accept all major credit cards. Balance of services is due on the rehearsal date.
3. In the meantime, we'll get to work crafting a memorable, beautiful, and fun wedding ceremony reflecting your story and values.
4. If you're doing pre-marital counseling (which we recommend), it begins with an online assessment, and then we'll set up your first session at a convenient time.
